Careers at PeopleMatter

Great people doing great things having a great time while doing it.

Think you’re a great fit?

Why we’re here

We’re on a mission to change the way employers and employees interact and make it better.

Make it meaningful. Make it easy. Make it fun.

And we’re making some really cool workforce management software to do just that.

See how we’re making a difference for customers today.

What working here is really like

We work hard to play hard and know that building a billion-dollar company isn’t easy.

It’ll take a lot more long days and late nights to get there, but we know there’ll be a lot of laughs, happy hours and impromptu cannon firings along the way to make it all worth it.

Sound like a place you’d like to work?

Meet some of the cool people you’ll work with

Andrew Evans, Customer Experience Manager, PeopleMatter

Andrew Evans

Andrew has worked at PeopleMatter for more than four years, starting in Sales and working his way up to Customer Experience Manager. Before PeopleMatter, Andrew sailed the high seas in the US Navy; now he enjoys cooking, watching his Yellowjackets play, and drinking a local Charleston brew … all on dry land!

Marianna Yates, Customer Success Consultant, PeopleMatter

Marianna Yates

When she’s not interacting with clients, she enjoys taking pictures, listening to live jazz and learning new languages. As an avid soccer fan, you can find Mariana loudly cheering for Brazil whenever they play. GOAAAAALLLLL!

Liz Dillon, Manager of Content Marketing and Strategy, PeopleMatter

Liz Dillon

Chances are you two have already met, and you didn’t even know it! Liz, aka "the voice of PeopleMatter,” takes on writing and managing all of PeopleMatter's email, website, and product marketing content. She won’t take it personally that you delete all her emails, but she will take you on in Jeopardy! any night of the week.

Miguel Buencamino, Quality Assurance Analyst III, PeopleMatter

Miguel Buencamino

After spending his entire college career earning a Civil Engineering degree, Miguel took all he learned about hydraulics and building bridges (literally and figuratively) and decided to take it into the software QA testing field. Now, instead of building stuff, he’s zeroed-in on trying to break it. And when he’s not doing that, Miguel’s throwing a brisket on his smoker or homebrewing his next batch of beer.

Jen Boulware, Engineering Manager, PeopleMatter

Jen Boulware

Jen loves to create; whether it's a solid app or a kick ass team. As Engineering Manager, she still actively codes, and luckily, her code hits the target far more often than her Nerf ammo … but you still might want to watch your back if you’re ever on the third floor. When all else fails she smashes bad code with her Hulk Hands.

Anna Turner, VP of Product Management, PeopleMatter

Anna Turner

Anna spends her work days delighting customers with new features based on market research. Weekends return the favor when she gets to spend time with her husband and two boys (ages 1 and 2), and gets lost in the latest spy thriller. PeopleMatter Book Club, anyone?

Tim Dillon, Sales Enablement Manager, PeopleMatter

Tim Dillon

If you’ve ever got a question about our products or Kentucky basketball, Tim’s your guy. He runs training and development for Sales during the day and runs after his one-year-old and wifey — whom he met at PeopleMatter — at night.

Brittany Chanco, Customer Experience, PeopleMatter

Brittany Chanco

Serving people is something Brittany takes very seriously. So whether it’s helping train people, resolving client facing issues or owning the dance floor – she is bound to serve.

"I love being able to work from a lounge chair on the roof with the best view in Charleston."

How to find us

How to get here

466 King Street
Charleston, SC 29403
Plug in your starting address here, or just plug ours into your phone. You’ll want to park in the Visitor’s Center Parking Garage (enter off of Mary or Meeting) and bring in your ticket, so we can validate it.
Book a flight >CHS (Charleston International Airport), then grab a cab or shuttle for the quick 15-minute trip downtown.
Stroll down King Street, and hit some of our favorite spots along the way. We’re right between Charleston Beerworks and Republic … and dangerously close to Basil, Glazed and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams.

How to get in

Once you find us (make sure you’re not across the street at our office with the big Smiley Guy on top), walk through the gate and ring the bell to tell us you’re here. We’ll buzz you in, sign you in, and make sure you’re settled in before your big day … Coffee? Water? Tide Pen? Just let us know!

How to live like a local

If you’re coming in from out of town, we’ve put together a list of our absolute faves to help you love Charleston just as much as we do. Whether you’re looking for a laid-back, beachside beer or looking to get dressed up and go all out, we’ve got just the place you should go. Check them all out here.
