Meet our 1,000,000th applicant

More than 1,000,000 people have applied for a job through PeopleMatter, and we think that’s a milestone worth celebrating! The man helping us lead the charge? None other than the one-millionth-man himself, Sam Martin.

Who is he?

Sam’s a 21-year-old college student based out of Indianapolis. A future Public Affairs and Environmental Studies grad and current beer enthusiast, Sam is ecstatic about joining the Scotty’s Brewhouse team on March 5.

As he put it, “I’m really excited about working with Scotty’s because A) I’m a big fan of their beer; and B) it’s a hip, young, cool company with an active social media presence.” … We couldn’t agree more, Sam. Check them out on Twitter.

His story

After a friend referred him to an opening at Scotty’s Brewhouse, Sam filled out the application online through PeopleMatter HIRE™. He was able to apply to several locations at once and didn’t have to fill out a separate application each time.

What else did Sam have to say about the HIRE application process? “I thought it was very modern, slick, fast and efficient. And being a pseudo-environmentalist, I liked that it was paperless.”

The twist

How cool is it that our 1,000,000th applicant came from our very first customer? Scotty’s Brewhouse joined the PeopleMatter family in October 2010, and hasn’t looked back since. Hear what the Scotty’s team has to say about why they love PeopleMatter in our customer testimonial video, and check out the ROI they’ve seen in our case study.
